BWCA trip - Sunsets

LIL NB #2 - Sunset - skeleton

Well, this sunset was most amazing. The clouds looked to me like this long skeleton gliding though the sky and the illuminated by the setting sun! The reds, the oranges, and the gazillion other colors just kept us looking skyward. This view is from our campsite on the north bay of Long Island Lake.

Frost Lake - Sunset

As if the first pic wasn't inspiring enough, Frost Lake gave us a bedazzling sunset. I would stand gaping at the beauty... (that would end quickly because at dusk mosquitoes would fly into your mouth if you did that very long!).

Sunset - Long Island Lake - SE

This one was early in the trip (Long Island Lake, southeastern section) and helped set the pace for the beauty that was to come. Is this too much or what!?!

Cherokee Lake sunset

Just in case you were getting 'oranged-out', I thought you might enjoy the blues and amethyst in this one on Cherokee Lake. The way the colors kept changing on this one made me think of college days and the **** (oops... censored).

Tuscarora Sunset

Tuscarora, what a beautiful name, could only provide a beautiful sunset. A little breeze on the water with this one helped keep the bugs down for another hour which helped a lot!

Is the sunsettleing enough for you? Hope you enjoyed those. You know that the camera only does it partial justice so you should consider going there to see the real thing! So... all rightie then..., back to the Onarock home page.
