BWCA trip - People

tom

Well, since I am the author, I will go first (maybe I should go last but if you are going to be scared off, it may as well be now!). Here I am on a GOOD hair day...

Margie

My fellow paddler, Margie, never fell in the water once (unlike myself). Here she is when her shoulders were only approaching second degree sunburn!

Greg

Here we have Greg demonstrating his enormous capability for eating boiled eggs (a luxury of the first few days). He also taught us that a three minute egg, usually a little runny at best, should be cooked the full three minutes!

Sandy

Next we have Sandy, Greg's paddling partner (I think they are married too... they slept together). She was the master (or is that mistress?) of garlic peeling. From these fresh garlic cloves she not only produced wonderful additions to dinner but also created the cutest doll faces in the process (pictures of these to come)!

Bill

This is Bill. I have been on several trips with him, and Jo (see below), before. He and Jo are good fisher-persons, which I think is a marvelous thing because I am a good fisher-eater!

Jo

Now this is Jo. She isn't working too hard in this picture since she was getting a free ride on one of our day trips (day trips are wonderful... you leave all the heavy stuff in camp!) Jo is a good paddler, though, and sometimes a good sail (you will see what I mean when I get that picture scanned).

Well, that is us. Margie and I and Bill and Jo were out for 14 days and Greg and Sandy were out for the first four (that is why they brought lots of fresh stuff and we suffered through freeze dried!) So, back to the Onarock home page.
