FROM THE EDITOR
As  a resident, the purpose of these pages is to inform and be informed about the current events within our village.  Your comments are most  welcome with identified e-mail addresses to the editor.   All inquiries will be responded to; and to the best of our knowledge, I will put out information that everyone will benefit from.

As the years go by there will be more information available with pictures and calendars for each of our groups:  Boat Club, Veterans, Dance Committee, Association, Golf Club, Bowling and Shuffleboard Club.

Word of Caution:

Please refrain from driving on the grass for any reason near the Clubhouse.

Truck, auto, and golf cart deliveries can be made through the font door.  The sprinkler system has had damage in the past.  Thank you.

As of 2008-09 season we are under a water ration system for our sprinkler systems  with the  lack of rain for the 4 years.
We, the residents of Lake Tarpon Village LTV (on our legal documents known as:  Lake Tarpon Mobil Home Park and more recently as Lake Tarpon Village, Inc.)  pay with our mandatory (per FS) "maintenance fee":  Clubhouse/pool heating and cooling, garbage collection (twice a week) per the covenant,  and street light usage charge, not maintenance of  the light system when they go out.   Water lines belong to Utilities of Florida, sewage lines are Pinellas County's lines.

The bank mortgage holds collateral of our maintenance fee.  We  voted against the judgment of Feb 13 2004 Case No. 03001909-CI-15 on  April 9, 2004 to allow our maintenance fee to pay for the large and 3rd mortgage on same loan Jan 9 2003, March 30 2005, and finally June 23, 2005.. The only benefit gained by this judgment is the cap on our maintenance fee (by SSI increase each year).

The RECREATION COUNCIL pays for the phones in the clubhouse.
