President's Message

FROM "THE THUNDERBIRD", October 2002,  VOLUME 36, NO. 4

E-Mail Lake Seneca Property Owners Association

I am sorry that I must inform you that I am resigning as President of Lake Seneca Property Owners Association.  I have received a promotion within Dana and I will be relocating to North Carolina.  I will be managing a business in their Spicer Off-Highway Division.  I will remain as a trustee for a short period of time because I have a couple of things I want to finish.  Once I am content with their status, I will also resign as trustee.

I want to thank you for your support and assistance over the last several years.   Many of you have expressed your feelings for the efforts I put forth for the Lake and I want you to know that I deeply appreciate your gestures.  I can sit here and think of numerous names I would like to thank, but I won't be specific for fear I may miss a key person.  If you remember giving me a positive comment or gesture, know that I also remember them and this is for you:  THANK YOU.  Your gestures gave me energy to keep going when I needed it most.

I truly believe that Lake Seneca is a unique and wonderful place to live and I am excited for this community's future.  It will only get better from here.  I urge all members to become involved in the management of our community by participating in the many committees set up to handle many daunting tasks.  Committees are an excellent way of contributing to the community without the structured commitment of being a part of the Board.  The Board needs this support to handle the many issues that face this community.  If you see a need for more focus on an issue.  I urge you to approach the board with your ideas in a manner that promotes a dialogue that fosters an environment where your ideas can be explored without becoming combative.  You and the board want the best for the community; present your thoughts or ideas with that in mind.

HELP!     I NEED YOU!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Kenny!!  I wish you the best of luck in your new position in North Carolina.  You've worked long and hard to earn this promotion!   Dana's gain is Lake Seneca's loss!  I hope that as I assume the office of President of the L.S.P.O.A. I can do as efficient a job as you did.  I have some big shoes to fill, but know that I have your support and the rest of the Board of Trustees.   I also thank Larry Wiles for stepping in to fill my position as Vice President.

I hope that as residents of Lake Seneca, I can count on your help and assistance in lending a helping hand where needed.  No one person or board can do it alone.  We need to stand together to make our community strong!  Teamwork and cooperation are just two of the keys to success.  Can we count on you?

Linda Earhart
