Have you ever wondered what you would be like as a Pok�mon? Have you ever dreamed of interacting with other Pok�mon? If you enjoy playing in online RPG's and would like to try one diffrent from all the rest of the Pok�mon RPG's, then Lake Eerie is the place to go! Accept no substitutions or flimsy imitations!! Lake Eerie is the longest, strongest running Pokemon perspective RPG in all of Y-groups! Or... at least it was. Unfortunately, the PBEM game is closed as of 01/01/2007.

This RPG was created on May 2, 2000 by Kataryna Lemusu, who on Dec. 19, 2002, passed ownership over to Mistie, and is maintained with the help of moderators Jimim, Nepryne and Zeth. Nearly 5 years of solid RPG and community rounded rules have kept this game running smooth and high in volume and quality of posts(mostly). Our community has built many long lived friendships and even a few real romances!

The purpose of this game is to give you the chance to create a Pokemon character and run it through almost any adventures that you can imagine, simply by posting short stories to the mailing list. This also allows you to interact with other people's characters.

Every so often (like when things get quiet), one of the Moderators will design a little plot or event, which everyone who is interested in can interact in. This could range from humans attacking to some kind of solstice celibration, or whatever our warped imaginations can deal out!

All players will recieve experience, depending on the quality and quantity of posts made by them. Every ten points you will go up a level and when you reach the required levels, you will be able to evolve your character if you so wish. You will be expected to check your experince points yourself.

This page is intended as a place where you can learn more about the Lake - the Pokemon you might meet, the behaviour you might be expected to exhibit, the fun you can have! IF you are interested in joining the game, please read through the Rules and Guidelines section and also the Frequently Asked Questions section. If you have questions that are not answered on that page, drop one of the moderators an email, or post to the address in the contents bar. It will also be helpful if you join the Non-Lake-Eerie board and introduce yourself to the other players.
