-Q- Can I make Smilie parts for the next version of Smilie Maker?

-A- Yes you can just use the following template. You will of course be credited if any of your parts are used in the next version.

-Q- How do I make my Smilie transparent?

-A- Smilie Maker cannot make a Smilie transparent.

To do this simply load your created Smilie into paint, and choose save as.

Where it says "Save as Type" click the arrow and choose "Graphics Interchange format" (.gif).

You'll now get a warning message about losing some color quality, and if you want to continue. Click"yes".

Now change the background of your Smilie to a color not used in any of the Smilie parts.

In the top menu choose "Image" and then "Attributes".

Tick the "Use transparent background color" and then click "select color".

Choose the color of the Smilie background, and save. Your Smilie will now have a transparent background.

-Q- My help file is corrupted can I get a new version?

-A- Yes. You can find the Help File in the Downloads section of the site.
