TWINS

Lostkey11 is the proud grandma of twin grandchildren, Amanda and Travis   They were 2 pounds at birth and the premies are now 4 months old and each weigh 14 pounds.

APRIL SHOWERS

As the old song say's they bring May flowers. And bees.  And mud.  And pollen. On the good side they make things smell WONDERFUL.

FOOLS DAY PARADE

 The big April Fools Parade took place in the village last Sunday and a good time was had by all. Snaggletooth was there sporting a full set ofchoppers (he borrowed them from his mama). Rocky flew above like a big balloon.  Pupu was there on her carpet right behind Rocky. WESLEY the ifrit  came dressed as an Olympic runner.  The Wizard of Odds put on a spectacular fireworks display using only his fabulous fingers. Mr.Bones brought his rat hat on a leash and the Tigers were close behind.    All the cave critters were at the end of the parade putting on a tumbling show not to be believed. It was a sight to behold.

May all of you have a great spring and enjoy some nice weather. It was a long winter in many places and we had  fun keeping each other company playing Ali Baba Slots on many a cold night!  Happy Spring!!

SPRING THINGS

Spring is springing up all over, the birds the bees the flowers.Spring is sprung, the grass is riz and we know where the birdies iz. They iz everywhere. In the spring a young camels thoughts turn to -------lady camels. Everybody get outside and get to work, digging and planting and clipping and weeding and cleaning etc, etc, etc. Then go inside and clean and clean and clean, whew!  Nevermind, I'm pooped and coming down with a virulent case of spring fever. I think I'll just sleep till summer.

THE SOCIETY PAGE FROM THE BAGHDAD GAZETTE

Princess PUPU is going on a diet.  Her papa, The Sultan, is tired of the extra expense of having to buy new clothes to fit his pretty and plump princess.    She will only be allowed 6 jelly donuts per day and she must eat all her veggies.   Let's hope it works.

CAMEL RACES

The annual Cave and Cavern Camel Races were held on Sunday after the parade.  One lap around the cave and u must stop at the tavern in the cavern for a beer.  This continues as long as the contestants can stay on their camel.  If they get off to use the facilities or just fall off they are out of the race.  Endurance is the name of the game. And our enduring winner was WESLEY the ifrit. Congratulations to him.

I want all of you to know that our feature reporter Roberta has come down with a good case of Spring Fever. She told us about all of the different kinds of fruit trees that are in bloom in her yard and my goodness Ro, you could make us one giant fruit salad.  Our deep appreciation & many thanks Roberta for all you do to make the Chit Chat special.
