NIGHT BEFORE XMAS IN BAGHDAD

Twas the night before xmas and all over the city
Not a creature was stirring not even a kitty
The kids were all tucked tite into their beds
While visions of honey dates danced in their heads
When out on the sand dune there arose such a clatter
That we sprang from our beds to see what was the matter
There on the sand dressed in red flannel
Was ajolly old cart driver and eight tiny camels
He hoisted his pack and entered our tent
Went to the fire pit and over it bent
He brought toys for the children out of his pack
Laid them all down and then ate his snack
Then with a wave and a great big old grin
He bid us goodnite and and left on the wind
