This Alumni web site was hastily established that lacks content, interactivity, or artistry.  It is my hope hat more Alumni will help out, administratively or technically, to make this web site the best it can be.  Following are just some of my vision in what the web site will become:

GOAL # 1 Chinese & English Bilingual Site (high priority): To establish a Chinese version of the site so that it can be equally useful to those who prefer the content in Chinese language.   Being an immigrant for so long in USA, I am very inadequate, both in technical and language, to move forward this goal without expert help.

GOAL # 2 Robustness, Privacy and Interactivity: It will be very helpful if we can use web techniques such Java, Java Scripts, PERL and web database to make our web site more interactive so that alumni can update their contact information (e.g address, phone #) directly online without 3rd party intervention.   Furthermore, it will be good if we can make this web site secure so that our contact information can be safe and private.

GOAL # 3 Own Domain Names: This site, as it stands, is a free site hosted by www.geocities.com. It will be very neat to have our own domain name such as www.lai_chack_alumni.org.

GOAL # 4 Link up with other Alumni who are in Information Technology business : There is strength in number. I would like to see there are sponsorship from current  Alumni who can collaborate our web effort technically or financially.  Furthermore I would like to see if we can collaborate the current Lai Chack web master to share our resources and skillsets especially that of  goal # 1

GOAL # 5 Get the news out : That everybody will do their part to seek out old classmates and retired teachers and have their information in the web.
