Welcome to the 2004 La Hue Family Reunion

Hello, my name is Rachel Borho, I am a daughter of Marcelle La Hue's (daughter of Bill La Hue). I am assisting my mom, Uncle Roger, Marne and a few others with the planning of the 2004 La Hue Family Reunion. I've put together this site to help get the info out about the reunion.

Okay as of now the 2004 La Hue Family reunion will be held in Westbank, BC, on Labour Day weekend in September. It will be held at the Happy Valley RV and Campsite, below is a link to their website.

I have included a link to the letter that is being mailed out to every one, as well there is a link to the cost sheet that needs to be sent in along with your cheque for the reunion. Both can be printed off, but you should be receiving both in the mail anyway.

Originally I had said that I would be booking the campsites for everyone, however, after some discussions we have decided to let you all book your spots yourselves so there is less confusion. You will need to book your spot fairly quickly as they will fill up fast.

As some of you have stated that you would like to stay in a hotel rather than camp, we have included some info for hotels close to the campsite, this info is included in the letter.

Important Info

All of the following information can be found in the letter that we sent out, however, I thought that it might be easier to find the info that you're looking for if I were to just put it here point form.

CAMPING:

Everyone is responsible for booking their own camping spot or hotel room as the case may be. Here are the prices for camping spots at Happy Valley:

° Tenting with out power/water $ 22.00 + tax

° Tenting with power/water $ 30.00 + tax

° RV/Camper full hookup (not on beach) $ 35.00 + tax

° RV/Camper full hookup (on beach) $ 40.00 + tax

To book your spot call 250 768 7703 and ask for Elaine. Be sure to say that you are with the La Hue family reunion. You will want to book your spot ASAP. Go to the Campsite map (link below) to see which spots we have reserved.

HOTELS:

If you would prefer to stay in a hotel we have info for two that are close by, however, Kelowna has many more so feel free to find one suitable for your needs.

Both hotels said that they are already filling up fast, so book now if you want a room.

FOOD:

We will be supplying everyone with breakfast each day and dinner each night. The cost for this will be $15.00/day/person for a total of $45.00/person for the weekend. We will not be charging for children under the age of 10 (i.e. 9 and under). We will need you to send a cheque or money order for that ASAP.
