Chapter Two- I Don't Wanna Go!!
About 4 hours later Lori and Nick were waiting in the lobby of Best Western Convention Center Hotel located on 522 West 38th Street in New York City, NY (10018). They were keeping an eye on the luggage while their parents paid for the rooms and got the hotel room keys.
"This is so boring." Lori rolled her eyes.
"I'm going in the pool." Nick bragged.
"Congratulations." a very tepid Lori said. She rolled her eyes again.
"I'm gonna go ask mom if I can." Nick said before he walked over to their parents.
"He's such a loser."
"OK. We're all set to go to our hotel room now." Jackie said.
"Do I get my own room?" Lori, who was trying to be enthusiastic, asked.
"No. You'll get your own hotel room when you're older." Jackie told her.
"I'm a freshman in high school!" Lori protested.
"And you're only 14 years old." Jackie reminded her.
"I'm pretty mature compared to the kids at my school. They're a bunch of idiots." Lori said.

"I didn't think Ally would do something like that. When she was around you she was so sweet and nice and everything." Greg said.
"And hot." Chris added.
"I didn't think she could do something either, but I guess you can't judge a book by it's cover." Matt decided. "I think I'm gonna break it off with her."
"You should cheat on her." a young, inexperienced Jesse said.
"I'm not going to stoop to her level." Matt said point blank.
"You guys feel like hanging out?" Frankie asked.
"OK. Break's over. Let's get back to work." a stern, serious Claudia said.
"Where?"
"Times Square." Frankie suggested.
"Sounds like fun." the guys agreed. Matt was a little hesitant at first, but finally decided he should get out and have some fun.
*~*~*~*WITH LORR AND FAMILY*~*~*~*
"I don't want to walk around Times Square though. I need to work on my Dream Street fan fiction." Lori whined.
"Maybe you'll run into them when you're walking around Times Square." Nick teased her. He laughed.
"Don't joke like that. That isn't very cool." Lori said angrily.
"I'm not joking. Maybe you will run into them." her brother insisted trying to stifle his laughter. It wasn't working though because he started laughing even harder.
"You're such a jerk." Lori retorted.
"And you can't take a joke." Nick snarled back.
"I can't take a joke. Not when it's about Dream Street." Lori said in a serious tone of voice.
"Not when it's about NIGHTMARE STREET." Nick corrected.
"Stop being a jerk!" Lori shouted at him.
"Lori, there are people next door. Please keep your voice down." Donnie said as he sat down on the bed to get ready for a night out on the town.
"Boo hoo." she said drawing a fake tear with her finger from her eye down her cheek.
"Lori, lose the attitude." Jackie said sternly.
"Shouldn't she be getting ready?" Donnie asked looking at his wife.
"Yes she should." Jackie answered calmly.
"I'm not going." Lori said flopping down on the bed. She picked up the remote control, turned on the TV and started channel surfing.
"Yes you are going now go get ready. NOW!" Jackie said as her voice got louder.
"And YOU tell ME to keep my voice down." Lori said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes in disbelief.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*2 HOURS LATER (8:15)*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Lori, Donnie, Jackie and Nick all walked out of the hotel and walked to Times Square. Lori kept a few feet behind them because she really wasn't in the mood to be around them, especially after they practically shouted at her; they thought that she had a bad attitude, but it was normal for her to act that way. Well, maybe once in a while.

"Come on dude. Have some fun." Greg encouraged Matt, who had been sulking and moping around for the past 20 minutes.
"I can't...this is...this where me and Ally met for the first time." Matt insisted.
"You met Alexia at a Dream Street meet and greet, dude." Chris reminded him.
"Yeah. Sarah's the one who you met here." Greg said. He continued to look through the Britney Spears' posters.
The guys were in FYE because Greg had spent about 10 minutes begging to go there so he could buy a Britney poster. He said that his other Britney posters need company. His friends laughed at him.
Matt looked up from the Sum 41 CD and saw a blonde girl walking in their direction. She had semi-long blonde hair, blue eyes and she was wearing a pink flowered skirt with a pink sweater, tights and pink sandals. She looked like she was dressed up for a date, but he had no idea that her parents had made her wear it.
