This is your basic
first-person shooter. It is probably the most realistic FPS out
there, well not the most realistic. America's Army is the most realistic.
However, Counter-Strike implements full gun recoil and the ability
to shoot straight only when crouching or standing still. Its fun
an free, just aslong as you have Half-Life because Counter-Strike
acts as a mod, unless you go retail.

This is a new breed
of gaming. A mix of both first-person shooter and real-time strategy.
It is an Alien vs. Marine type of game where you must build your
base then dominate the other team. There is nothing real about this
game, but it is very addictive. This too is a Half-Life mod and
must be downloaded because there is no retail version.
