Vrisca Fa'Domani

Neither the date of birth nor the date of death are known.

Rather secretive, would disappear from her family for months at a time, but no one ever spoke of it. When she returned, her skin would be a slightly darker shade, barely noticeable even to those closest to her. She had a room that no one except her was allowed to enter. She was quiet and reserved.
Didn't fit into the sylvan community, but the sylvans weren't social anyway, so few minded or noticed her presence. She always dressed in expensive robes and wore lots of pendants and other jewelry, most with runic markings or odd stones. Some took her way of dressing for vanity, if she noticed this she never made an effort to disprove it. She never seemed to age, while Vraire saw her father grow mature and even develop more lines, Vrisca still looked young, though her face had a smooth, ageless quality.
She was very intelligent, and possessed expansive magical and arcane abilities. She is the root from which the rest of her family gets their magic spark. She had beautiful deep violet-blue eyes which she passed on to all her female children and grandchildren. When she became angry, her eyes would change color and flash red, or even black. None of her sons or grandsons possessed magic and they likewise had eyes of some other color. The girls were also born with a different eye color, but within the first year of life the eyes changed, almost overnight. It is suspect that Vrisca herself had to impart the gift onto her children, because the only known great-granddaughter, Kiya Ann Ra'Ashpir, (who was borne of wedlock and suffering, other suspect causes) without the Fa'Domani eyes was never seen or met by Vrisca. Vrisca also never taught her sons, or any other male, magic. She believed men could not properly harness and ethically use the great magics she knew of. Maybe she had reason to suspect this?
She had long, shimmering black hair that Vraire often recounted as "flowing down her back, each strand cut exactly the same length". She had deep-blue violet eyes and her features were in the shape of one who's forefathers had lived in Rhoska'Tor, though her skin was, for the most part, pale. She was very obviously Faendryl. Before Vraire left, she remarked that it seemed to grey each time her mother returned from one of her trips.
As of know, her origins and family background are unknown, as are her pre-mother endeavors. Vraire suspected that Vrisca was much, much older than any other person she'd ever met, even her grandparents on her father's side. Vrisca often told her children of stories of times long past, in a way that they felt they too were there. She fed them with the culture of times long past and places far away, things that Vraire later discovered to have been true history, not merely fantasy stories.
Did not protest to Vraire's marriage to Tarhaend, and silenced his father after a short, private meeting. Offered much money, I suppose. Still, to give up his only son - maybe she bewitched him.

Current residence or status unknown. Note: try finding those sylphs...
