So after spending the night in Oban, I caught the bus north.  All but the last of these pictures were taken through the bus window,  and they turned out fairly well.  Alot of the most beautiful scenes I didn't take pictures of.  I was too busy drooling and plotting how to marry a Scot so I could live here.

We went through the mountains--sometimes with clear skies, sometimes with snow, sometimes both in the span of five minutes--through Fort William, along Loch Ness (where I stopped at
Urquhart Castle ruins), and ended up in Inverness (where it was pouring down snow, see last picture).  I hiked from the bus station in the snow to a cool little youth hostel and spent all night sitting on the heater and reading.
