An ordinary high school girl which was Yusuke's childhood playmate and sweetheart. With brown hair and eyes Keiko was always the spirit detective's main inspiration.
It was due to her relationship with him that her life was threatened more than once. The first one was when Hiei was being pursued by Yusuke. The fire demon, who was then an enemy kidnapped her. the other one was during Yusuke's second mission were all zombies chased her in Ningenkai.
On both occassions, he was able to save her.
Being an ordinary human, Keiko was probably the only one among the YYH characters who doesn't have any extraordinary abilities ( besides that mean slap she always give to Yusuke). Other characteristics worth mentioning was her loyalty to Yusuke despite his odd job as reikai tantei. She even pleaded Botan to bring her in the Ankoku Bujutsukai arena. Before the Makai tournament, Yusuke promised marriage as soon as he get back after three whole years. Yusuke fulfilled that promise. |
