SUMMARY:
Daniel is a sea captain. He came to visit an old friend, Albert, who had helped him become a captain. Albert dies while Daniel is there. Albert's dying wish is that Daniel marries his only child, Jeanne.
Jeanne and Daniel marry but they live like strangers, except at night because of Jeanne's mother tries stopping Daniel and her from falling in love. Clara is the only one who can help them love each other and discover the secret behind Albert's will.
CHARACTER SKETCH:
DANIEL
He doesn't like to talk about his family. He's quiet and kind and is true to his word. He owns his own ship and his sailors are well trained. All his sailors are in fear of him because of his temper which is hard to set off unless someone is doing his family harm or one of his sailors are not obeying. His sailors are so well trained that they wouldn't even think of jumping ship when ever they reach port. So he still has all of the sailors he had when Albert gave him the ship. Right now his ship is on a run to India without him while he takes care of his family. Blond hair blue eyes.
JEANNE
Jeanne is just as quiet as Daniel is. She tries hard to please him and make him love her at least a little. She enjoys being around him and misses him whenever he's gone. She can't wait until his ship comes back because then she'd be away from her mother. No matter what, her mother still can't stop their love from each other if she's away from them. Black hair blue eyes.
CLARA
She's a 3-year-old who is always talking. Grown-ups usually forget that they're talking to a child because she's so smart and uses such big words that some grown-ups don't even know. Her parents adore her and her grandmother tries to discipline her for accidents or things she didn't even do. Blond hair blue eyes.
NORA
She despises Clara and Daniel because of the one secret she learned just before Albert passed away. She doesn't want Jeanne to like Daniel and the secret might keep that from happening. Grey hair brown eyes.
I seem to remember this story fairly well. It seems really trite looking back on it, but I�ve got some additional ideas that are not currently implemented in any other stories. Also, I remember lots to this story that isn�t written down anywhere and I�m not sure if it�s because I wrote it after I started this and never updated this or I never got far enough along with this to note it. Also, his name has to change from Daniel since I already have a Daniel and the Daniel I have has to be Daniel and can�t be anyone but Daniel. The Daniel and Annie story has had their names since I pretty much started their story. Well, actually, since I combined their story with another. I have a tendency to combine stories to make them more interesting and exciting and not so boring.
Also, Jeanne is pronounced �Jee-Anne�. There�s that �stupid� word again. Yeah, I am glad I didn�t become a writer when I was 12 like I wanted to.
