Indian II
The sequel to the Wagon Massacre story has no Indians. This is the brothers story. Ive been playing around with it in my head for a while, but never came up with anything substantial because I have been more interested in the sisters story, but last night some cool ideas fell into place for him and he will find happiness, Im sure.

It starts out with a recap of the massacre, but instead of from the sisters POV, its from Rachels POV. Shes 10 and she is raped and scarred horribly on the left side of her face with a jagged cut going from her temple, across her eye (shes lucky she didnt lose it) , down her cheek, to the corner of her lip. Prior to the massacre, therell be some innocent flirting between the boy and Rachel. After the massacre, the boy stays by her side and helps nurse her back to health.

Her father and his father settle in the same town, but her scars run deeper than on the skin. She is now 25 and never married. Rachel is terrified of all men except our hero (of course) and everyone looks down on her because of her disfigurement. I also just realized that in the third book of my lighthouse trilogy, the girl is also possibly disfigured. Im going to have to miraculously heal her because I want Rachel to be the one with the disfigurement.

So, for the past 15 years, Hero has been trying to court Rachel, but she wont allow it because she doesnt feel worthy. Then, the
first story happens and Hero sees how happy his sister and her husband are and decides he isnt going to mess around any more. He goes after her with a vengeance.

So far, thats pretty much all Ive come up with, but the wicked stepmother and stepsister  from the
first story are back to make life miserable for our characters. Also, theres gonna be a scene where Hero is with some men or near some men and one of the men mentions how beautiful Rachel is if she just keeps her face turned away and it provokes him and he goes Bam! Bastard goes down! But, tonight, I might revisit it if I am not occupied with another story and if I revisit it, Ill have more to add.
