Roasting Chestnuts has become a big tradition among tree trimming parties.
Come along, and I'll show you how easy it is done!
Roasting Chestnuts
A bowl of freshly roasted chestnuts is a fragrant,
healthy snack on a brisk evening. Chestnuts are
very low in fat & calories. To roast your own,
select chestnuts that are firm & umblemished.
Slit the skin of each nut with an "X" to allow
steam to escape as they cook. Then put the
nuts on a baking sheet in the oven for about 15
minutes at 400 degrees. When they are ready,
grasp the curling skin, and peel.
