Poetry is my hobby, It is how I express my feelings and thoughts. These are a few of the ones I like. Most of these are pretty new. The most recent addition to this page is titled 'Perfect' and is located at the end. Hope you enjoy :)

Sometimes I wonder
When does it really end?
Does it end or do we just hide it
Repress it
Pretend it didn't happen
And go on living our lives
As though its all the same
Every day living
Where everyone believes
We are fine
We are doing all right
When we are really torn inside
Crying inside
Hurting inside
Wondering why?

Numb

Numb,
Is how I feel
Empty inside,
Hurt, knowing
I will never
Have you
So overcome
With emotions
I cannot bear
Lost
Without you

I am Reminded

Everytime I see you
I am reminded
The warmth of your embrace
The sweetness of your lips

Everytime I think of you
I am reminded
Of the way you made me smile
Of how easy it was to fall

Everytime my eyes meet yours
I am reminded
How much I am missing you
How hard it is letting go

My One

I listen closely
To the beating
Of your heart
The rhythm
So closely
Matching my own
Slowly
The rhythmic beating
Of our hearts
Become one
And I smile
Knowning
My search is over
I have found
My one

Protected

In your arms
I feel
Protected
Like nothing
Could ever
Harm me
Contented
Knowing it
Will always
Be like this
Knowing I will
Always feel
Protected
In your arms
I am yours
Forever

My Paradise

Captivated
By your smile
The way it makes me
Want to smile too
Enraptured
By your eyes
They seem to pull me into you
Magical
The passion
That overwhelms me
When your lips brush mine
Mystical
The way I have found
In the arms of one
Through your embrace
My love
Your kiss
My paradise

I Thought...Different

I thought
I was special
Different
From the rest
I thought
I connected with you
In a way
That was
Different
I thought what we
Shared
Between us
Was unlike
Those from the past
I thought
You cared

Wondering

You entered my life
And turned my world
Upside down
I felt things
I never felt before
I saw things
In a different light
What I shared with you
Was beyond what
I had ever known
Now it's gone
And I am left
Wondering
If I will ever feel
Like this again

The Chance

I wish I could have
The chance
To get to know you agian
To ask the things
I never did before
The chance
To try again
To fix what I did wrong
Tho we never know
What the future holds
I know that if I had
The chance
To call you mine again
I would never let you go

Perfect
Her eyes met his across the room And time stood still Those eyes, so captivating She couldn't look away Slowly she steps forward Making her way to the man Whose eyes deeply entranced her	His eyes met hers across the room And the earth stopped moving Those eyes, he thought So bewitching And he slowly steps forward Making his way to the woman With the mesmerizing eyes
Under the spell of the enchanting moon in a close embrace Their lips part and meet in the sweetest kiss each has ever known And time stood still, the earth stopped moving And for just that moment, everything in their lives was Perfect
