My Family

Let me introduce myself.. I am Satin, a 29 year old stay-at-home mom from New Brunswick Canada. And No, its really not that cold here (see weather below) and honestly I dont live in an igloo or any other misconception that some people may have about Canada.:) I love to write (tho I dont often have time to anymore, to see a sample of my poems, keep reading these pages)  I have been with my high school sweetheart, Mark, for 14 years. I am not going to say much about him.. He's your typical computer geek, which is good, cause then I dont have to pay someone to fix my 'puter when I break it:)  Sorry no piccies of him.. He'd frown if I posted any. :P

First meet Danielle. She willl be 11 in February 2008. She is in Grade 5 and is doing very well, great speller, loves to read, I think she's going to be smart (takes after her mother :) )She loves to draw, paint, a very artistic little girl.   She's the apple of her fathers eye and she knows it :)

And this is Alyssa, she will be 6 in May 2008. She is in Kindergarten and so far she is loving it. I love having some quiet time! She never stops talking. She is mommys little girl, I dont get to go too far without her right behind me.

(I know the pics are not very recent. I'll post newer pics when I have time to scan them and when I remember how! :) )

The other member of our family is our dog, Xena. She is a shih-tzu/terrier mix. She became a member of our family in October 2002. She's a pretty good family dog but I think her favourite is Danielle, she even sleeps with her. The only thing with a little dog is that they are always underfoot, but shes cute.. So thats okay :)
