Well I am finally done with this semester!!! I just took my last final 3 hours ago, and I am exhausted. And I have gotten no sleep for the last two days. Ack!!
First I would like to say thank you to all of you that signed by guestbook, and sent me e-mail! I love hearing from you :)
I was sorely tempted to smoke this weekend. I was so stressed out, and feeling miserable. But I knew that smoking would just make me feel worse. Ack, but I wanted it soooo badly! I thought I was going to go nuts, lol. Luckily, I had a patch left over, so I slapped that on today, and it helped a little.
Now thinking back to when I was a regular smoker, (all of a month ago, lol) I can't believe the amount of money I have wasted on cigarettes over the years. And the resentment I would feel toward a friend if they took the last one in the pack. And that angry feeling I would have if there were no cigs left and all the stores were closed. Smoking Sucks! I can't believe the lengths I would go through to just get a cig. I am so glad that I am leaving them behind. They are not worth that trouble!
If you have paid any attention to my entrance page, you might have seen the award I received from Family First! Butt Kickers has been selected as a featured site by them :) I couldn't believe I got one- this site has only been up for a few weeks. But it made me think that I might want to "spruce" up things a bit. This blue background is a little depressing, lol. Maybe over vacation I will re-design things a bit and make things look a little snazzier.
I am also thinking of adding a few features, but I am not sure what yet. Message Board? More games? Pictures? ICQ/AOL IM Contact Lists so you can find other quit-buddies? If you are reading this, and have any ideas-please share them! I am horrible at design and could always use the suggestions :) You can even use this easy-to-use form to submit your idea :)
Well, I *really* need some sleep so I gotta go!
BTW-I made it a week! Whoohoo!
Love, Kathleen (aka LadyRaven)
