Cutie Pie in our back yard

This page was last updated on 07-11-2004 and is still Under Construction

Hello, my name is QT Pi, and this is my webpage! I turned nine years old on February 1st, 50ish lbs, and I am the cutest dog around. Everybody tells me that, that's how I know. I try not to let it go to my head, but if it's true, you just gotta admit it! If you want to read my story, go ahead, I won't bite.

I just had surgery. Boy, am I happy that's over! And just in time. I can't have babies now, but that's ok. I'm too old anyway.

My Mommy used to have a perfect job, for me at least. She used to care of kids. This was perfect for me because in the summertime I got to go with her and kids are my specialty. I didn't even get upset if they pull on me. And I NEVER pull on them. I even let a 5-year- old walk me once. But now she doesn't work at all. She gets to stay home because of Rachel. I really LOVE that!

Mommy also is really good to me. I am not picky about what I eat but I won't eat dog food. That stuff is disgusting! It tastes like garbage! Mommy says that's about whats in it too! YUCK! So she looked around and found a good homemade dog food that is healthy and tastes GREAT! It is so good, my friend Pal loved to eat it and he didn't like ANYTHING except raw meat. GUESS WHAT!! I am a nationwide traveller! I got to go on a trip a couple of years ago to see my other Grandma. My Mommy's Mommy lived far far away. I found out that if you want to be a nationwide traveller, you only have two options. I've taken both! The first time we travelled, we went into an giant flying animal's stomach. Mommy put me in a box so that the animal would know I wasn't lunch! Mommy and Daddy got into the people part of the animal and we flew to my Grandma's house. Grandma's Mommy lived there too so I met my Great-Grandma also. Great-Grandma (they call her 2Grandma because my cousin Blake made it up) bought me a woodshed for a dog house. I like it much better than my other little house. And Grandma bought me a metal rope, and a GIANT waterbowl. It was almost big enough to go swimming in that is if I was a chihuahua! But we didn't get to stay for very long, only 12 days. Then we went back on a flying animal and went home. You know, I think I would like flying more if I could have sat with Mommy and Daddy. They said that only "seeing-eye dogs" can go up there, so I guess that's ok.

Now I live near that Grandma, but we had to take the second option. It was horrible car ride to get there. We lived in Massachusetts my whole life and then after my Daddy died we moved to Washington State to live there. I hated cars, they've always made sick, literally. But then Mommy and my new Daddy Melvon got rid of everything (well it seemed like everything) in our new house. We had only lived there a year when we left it. We packed all that Mommy had left into a old trailer and Melvon's Pathfinder. I got shoved in that box that I went in the metal bird in. The whole trip all I could see was a little area outside a window and computer stuff all around me. Boy, did I learn not to be sick in the car. It seemed like we were never gonna get there. We stopped a lot to. We stopped at both of Mommy's grandmas' houses, a Grandma I hadn't met yet and 2Grandma's house. We stopped at this place they called the Big Onion....no that wasn't it, Great Can or maybe it was the Grand Can Beyond...well it was in a place called Aridzona, and it was a HUGE crack in the ground. I wanted to go DOWN and investigate, but Mommy and Melvon said we didn't have time to. We also stopped in a cool place in North Carolina, it was like a farm, but in the woods! Everywhere we went I had sleep in the car...that wasn't very fun. Well I did get to go inside at 2Grandma's house and once, at the Big Onion, Great Bunyon....well....the big crack in the ground, Mommy and Melvon slept in the car with me! I think I counted 9 or 10 days in that car. But now I like cars and I go in cars as much as I can.

We lived at Grandma's house for a while, until Melvon came back again. He went home take care of his two doggies and two kitties. Then Mommy and Melvon got an apartment and we moved there. Now they are obsessed with fish and they have as many fishtanks as I am OLD. But because they moved to an apartment they were able to get me a baby.

My baby is almost three years old already, and he's grey with dark grey spots and stripes. I love him so much Mommy is gonna have to make me wean him, I'm so happy to have a baby. He chortles, and plays with me, and is so fluffy. Of course, no one believes that he's my baby because he's a cat. But that's ok with me. He's still MY baby. The girl that we got him from named him Cricket, so we kept that name. Course Grandma calls him Timothy Cricket.
