| The above photo was taken in 2001 while my husband and I were on a fishing trip for our two year anniversary. I wasn't on any diet plans and ate whatever I wanted which included lots of ice cream ~ isn't that a food group? Exercise at this point was almost impossible ~ it was hard to do anything physical without running out of breath. I felt like a hippo on display at the zoo wherever I went. This is the point at which I started the "ediets" program. |

| Between Sept and December of 2002 the doctors had diagnosed me with high blood pressure. I have to take two blood pressure medications ~ the doctors say that weight loss is a MUST now. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A typical day consist of : EDIET meals (www.ediets.com) ~. I am on the 1400 calorie plan. Exercise is getting easier at this point but still is a daily challenge ~ I try to go to the gym at least 5 days a week now; when I 'm there I do a minimum of 20 minutes of cardio (bike and treadmill are my faves) . I have recently incorporated weight training to build lean muscle to fight that fat! |

| Recently I have been volunteering for the Humane Society here in Astoria, as well as working with family support at my DH's military unit. That paired up with taking Cooking classes,(hoping to be a chef one day), I keep really busy!!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
