John's death certificate states that he died of Obstruction of the bowel and Exhaustion. Present at his death was his granddaughter Catherine Bills. In 1881 Census John and Sarah were living at Millbank Sedgley . His occupation was listed as Labourer and Excavator. Sarah's occupation was listed as Washerwoman Children:- Sarah born , Ann, Joseph, Jane (Joseph and Jane died before marriageable age.) Ann married a Mr. Bills. John William & George Henry moved to South Yorkshire with Winifred & John Elwell. Oldfield Children: -Katherine became Katherine Gautery?, Rose became Rose Flaherty. Also there was a Jemima and a Robert . SARAH SIMNER died 10.1.1906 WINIFRED JONES married JOHN ELWELL They were living in MORTON, DERBYSHIRE in 1881 Children:- Mary, David, William, Annie, Winifred, Samuel. In 1881 census a Henry aged 5 months mentioned. This child must have died as baby.
