English Meaning of the Quran: 33: 41-44
Surah 33 is titled Al Ahzab which means 'The Confederates'. O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do so often; And glorify Him morning and evening. He it is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the depths of Darkness into Light: And He is Full of Mercy to the Believers. Their salutation on the Day they meet Him will be "Peace!": and He has prepared for them a generous Reward. For the symbolic meaning of "Light and Darkness", look for next months newsletter!

Believe it or not? The picture to the right is reported to have been found near Sidney. The "man" praying is even directly facing the kabba.
"Soon will We show them Our Signs in the furthest regions of the earth, and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that Thy Lord doth witness all things?" (Quran 41:53)
Henna is a small tree that grows only in very warm climates (minimum 60F). It takes 5 years to mature enough to produce leaves with useful amounts of tannin, the dye. The hotter and drier the region is where the tree grows, the darker the dye will be. Henna comes in various shades of reddish-brown. The natural henna is safe but beware of black henna. Henna is not black, but some substances are marketed as such. Some are safe, but sometimes a dangerous substance called para-phenylenediamine is marketed as "Black Henna". It can cause blistering, swelling, hives, and other dangerous side effects.
