ISLAM
Reasons I Converted from Christianity to Islam

1. There are so many contradictions in the Bible.
2. The existing Bible has been altered and no longer contains the true message that was intended.
3. There is much scientific evidence that the Quran is from God.
4. Islam is the same religion preached by all the prophets in the Bible.
5. If Jesus(PBUH) really was God, wouldn't he have left a clearer message and told us?
6. Jesus(PBUH) always said he was sent
from God, not that he was God.
7. The Quran has never been changed since it's revelation.
8. There are no contradictions in the Quran.
9. Even in the existing Bible, there is evidence of the foretelling of prophet Muhammed(PBUH).

Of course I don't believe anyone will be convinced I made the right choice just by reading these reasons so I will provide links and references to back up each one of my points listed above. These links have very good information so I hope you take the time to read some of it. If anyone wants further information on a specific topic email me at: [email protected]

101 Contradictions in the Bible: Cleared Up
My response to the Christian response is this:
Let me be nice and agree with them that they might have some good rebuttals. There is still the fact that they explain away nine errors due to copyist error. They admit themselves that the Bible has been compromised, though they don't put it in those terms, that is what it comes down to. If copyists made errors, what was to keep them or others from changing any of the material they wanted?

According to C.J. Cadoux in
The Life of Jesus, he states "Literary veracity in ancient times did not forbid, as it does now, the assignment of ficticious speeches to historical characters: the best ancient historians made a practice of composing and assigning such speeches in this way."

T.G. Tucker writes in
The History of the Christians in the Light of Modern Knowledge, "Thus Gospels were produced which clearly reflected the conception of the practical needs of the community for which they were written. In them the traditional material was used, but there was no hesitation in altering it or making additions to it, or in leaving out what did not suit the writer's purpose."

For at least a century after the Gospels were written they had no canonical authority and could be and actually were changed by the copyists of the different sects to serve their own purposes. (Islam and Christianity, Aziz-us-Samad)

3. Scientific Proof the Quran is from God
One of my favorite books that addresses this topic is: A Brief Illustrated Guide to Understanding Islam by I. A. Ibrihim. The material in the book relevant to science in the Quran is available online at:
