Soul of my soul,
you are a gentle breeze under the wings of love.
I feel your wind catch my sails
as you cross the sea of discontent.
For you are that ocean whereupon hope floats
beyond my wildest river of doubt.
You are the lighthouse in my darkest night of uncertainty.
You are a treasure buried deep on my island of isolation.
You are the sun, shining upon my path,
forever warming my seeds of desire.
You are the moon in my sky,
my mission of love.....a challenger of dreams.
You are a falling star to wish upon and the stardust in my eyes.
You are the storm that floods my levee
and the rainbow on the other side of tears.

You are the road I fear to travel, yet the highway to my home.
You are my mountain view and my highest vantage point.
You are the peace in my valley,
where wisdom holds fidelity in high esteem.
You are the strongest oak,
yet a tender sapling reaching for acceptance.
You are the apple of my eye, knowledge inspiring,
and flaming passion for my spirit.
You are the loveliest rose on the trellis of my life,
though your thorns might prick me.
You are my conscience....
the logic of my mind....
the voice of my heart.
You are soul of my soul
and I love you more than life.
