At certain times, in our lifes travels, we have all journeyed
through many hardships and pain.  Most of us have worked
through these trials and have come out on top....
but some have not been as successful,
perhaps due to lack of faith and giving up.
The most important thing to remember,
no matter how bad things are,
THERE IS ALWAYS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!

This is a page of life's lessons, words to learn and live by.
Cherish these words...heed them well.....and enjoy life!

"....through the darkness emerges the light.
Through fear and chaos emerges love and order.
The light will carry us through our process supported
and emerging with greater brightness...."
"I have been through some terrible things in my life,
some of which actually happened".

~Mark Twain~
REFLECTIONS
You have given me a gift as I never ever dreamt of finding in this life.

~Frank Kafka~
People are like stained glass windows.
They sparkle and shine when the
sun is out, but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed
only if there is light from within.

~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
Every man dies,
Not every man truly lives.

~Braveheart~
Shoot for the moon.
Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.

~Les Brown~
If you were going to die soon, and had only one phone call you could make,
who would you call and what would you say?
And why are you waiting?

~Stephen Levine~
If I could reach up and hold a star
for every time you made me smile,
the entire evening sky would be in the
palm of my hand.

~Author Unknown~
The soul would have no rainbow
if the eyes had no tears.

~John Vance Cheney~
STAYING ON THE PATH
Your circumstances do not determine what your life will be;
they reveal what kind of images you have chosen up till now.

To change yourself, look at what you fear and what you hate.
Start there.

We are all at once teachers and learners, in every encounter in our lives.
What's over is over.
You did what you knew
how to do.
It wasn't right or wrong,
or good or bad.
It just was...
but all you've got is today.
You can't have it back.
You are always alone,
but you are only lonely if you
don't like the person
you are alone with.
Your love is located within you.
It is yours to nurture and savour.
It is yours to give
in any way you choose.
This is true for others as well
.
If someone you love fails to return the love the way you would like it returned,
that is the other person's choice.
It doesn't at all retract from your love.
Whatever is going on inside of you is up to you.
You own it all.  It is yours!
Get your nose out of everybody else's garden.
Get your own in order and stop focusing on everybody else's.
Grow what you want to grow in your garden.
All that you need in order to have total happiness,
fulfillment and love in your life you already have right now,
whoever you are, wherever you are.
Everything I ever worried about turned out exactly
as it was going to despite my worry moments to the contrary.
MEETING OF SELF
PEACEFUL MORNING
You musn't attempt to will anything.  You need only be willing.
There is a rhythm to the universe.  When we are able to get quiet enough,
we experience how we are a part of that perfect rhythm.
Advance confidently in the direction of your
dreams to live the life that you have imagined.
That's when you have success.
When you argue for your limitations, all you get are your limitations.

LIVE....BE YOU....ENJOY LIFE....LOVE!

Each of us has a well of infinite depth within us,
which contains more potential for creativity
than we can ever imagine.

No one can depress you.
No one can make you anxious.
No one can hurt your feelings.
No one can make you anything
other than what you allow inside.

With everything that has happened to you,
you can either feel sorry for yourself,
or treat what has happened as a gift.
Everything is either an opportunity to grow
or an obstacle to keep you from growing.
You get to choose.
GIVING THING
Do not go where the path may lead,
go instead where there is no
path and leave a trail.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson~
PSYCHES DREAM
When you come
to the edge
of all the light
you know,
and are about to
step off
into the darkness
of the unknown,
faith is knowing one of two
things will happen:
There will be something solid
to stand on,
or you will be
taught how to fly.

~Barbara J. Winter~
The next time you begin to think you are all powerful,
try ordering someone else's dog around.

~Author Unknown~
"Always in the big woods, when you leave familiar ground and step
off alone into a new place, there will be, along with the feelings
of curiosity and excitement, a little nagging of dread.  It is the ancient fear
of the unknown, and it is your first bond with the wilderness
you are going into.  What you are doing is exploring.
You are undertaking the first experience of our essential loneliness, for
nobody can explore the world for anybody else.  It is only after we have
discovered it for ourselves that is becomes a common ground and
a common bond, and we cease to be alone".

~Wendell Berry~
MADAME BUTTERFLY
You are a child of the universe!
no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

~Max Ehrmann~
You are here for a purpose.
There is not a duplicate of you in the whole, wide world;
there never has been...there never will be.
You were brought here now to fill a certain need.  Take time to think that over!

~Lou Austin~
After a while, you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand
and chaining a soul.  And you learn that love doesn't mean possession,
and company doesn't mean security.  And you begin to learn
that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises.
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes ahead,
with the grace of an adult and not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build your roads today because tomorrow's ground is
too uncertain for plans and  futures have ways of falling down in mid~flight.
After awhile you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too
much so you plant your own garden and nourish your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you can really endure,
that you really are strong, you really do have worth.
And you learn...and you learn...and you learn.....

REBIRTH FROM DARK
Do not let your fire go out,
spark by irreplaceable spark,
in the hopeless swamps
of the approximate,
the not~quite, the not~yet,
the not~at~all.
Do not let the hero in
soul perish, in lonely
frustration for the life
you deserved, but  have
never been able to reach.
Check your road
and the nature of your battle.
The world you desire
can be won.
It exists.
It is real.
It is possible.
It is yours.

~Ayn Rand~
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.

~Author Unknown~
"Dream as if you'll live forever...live as if you'll die today".

~James Dean~
Too often we we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word,
a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring,
all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

~Leo Buscaglia~
We are each of us angels with only one wing,
and we can only fly by embracing one another.

~Luciano de Crescenzo~
Tell me and I'll forget; show me and I may remember;
involve me and I'll understand.

~Chinese Proverb~
You give little when you give of your possessions.
It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.

~Kahlil Gibran~
THE WISE WOMAN'S STONE
A wise woman who was travelling in the
mountains found a precious stone in a stream.
The next day, she met another traveller
who was hungry, and the wise woman
opened her bag to share her food.
The hungry traveller saw the precious stone
and asked the wise woman to give it to him.
She did so without hesitation.
The traveller left, rejoicing in his good fortune.
He knew the stone was worth enough
to give him security for a life time.
But a few days later, he came back to
return the stone to the wise woman.
"I've been thinking," he said,
"I know how valuable the stone is,
but I give it back in the hope that you can
give me something even more precious.
Please give me what you have within you
that enabled you to give me the stone."
