| MY BEST FRIEND TRISH When I am lost and weary and don't quite know what to do, A hand reaches through the mist to help me not feel blue. It pulls me to my feet and wipes my tears away, a soft voice whispers to me to keep the darkness at bay. The voice and soul is always there when I need to call it to me, no matter when, night and day, she is there for me to see. To talk, laugh and cry with, to pick me up each time I fall. A caring, unselfish being she is, for she always hears my call. I would be so lost without her, for she gives everything she's got. I repay this debt by being there for her, for she's always in my heart. This soul is loving and caring, her friendship is so true. | I wrote the above poem for my best friend, Trish (LostAngelHeart). I met Trish on the "net" many years ago when challenging her to a game of Backgammon. I am sure that I must have won the games too. :-) She is the most wonderful, caring, kind and considerate person I have ever met....and she can "rip a strip" off the best of them when warranted. One fault she has though.... is the poor thing is from the awful west side of Canada. But I have never held that against her........too much. One other fault that actually isn't really her fault at all......she is a very poor Backgammon player, although she will try to argue this point. But nevertheless, she is the best friend that anyone could ever hope to have and I love her dearly.....and one day, I hope that we will finally meet......... with a "real" backgammon board between us.....hehehe :-)) Trish is also a very talented and creative lady. Below I have on display some of her beautiful artwork that she created using PaintShop Pro.
