Deep in the Valley of the Kings lies this impressive architectural work, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The structure is so modern-looking, it looks like something that could be built today.

Queen Hapshepsut ruled as Pharoah for 20 years, as a man. This happened because her husband had died suddenly, before they could have any children. Being the strong sista she was, she took the throne herself, amid the disapproval of her people, and despite the fact that a woman ruling over a country was taboo. To smooth things over, she dressed as a male pharoah, including wearing a false beard.

As a final "in-your-face" move to upset those that were dissin' her, she constructed this marvelous temple, in the Valley of the Kings, to mock those who were playa-hatin.
