It turns out that this particualr wife, unbeknownst to Rameses at the time, was actually his daughter (can we say incest?). You can't really fault him though. He had over 300 children, so he couldn't keep track of who they all were. I'm surprised that the children from this disgusting union didn't come out with 3 arms or 2 heads.
