Will Scarlet: (Will Scathlocke) Will used to be a soldier, but one night some mercenaries came to his home, and then raped and killed his wife. He "killed three of the bastards", and is in the Nottingham Dungeon, where Robin meets him, and gives him the will (no pun intended) to escape... and fight back. Only, Robin has trouble KEEPING him from fighting at times, as you might guess from the picture on the left. Will is keen to kill Gisburne, and frankly cannot understand why Robin keeps sparing his life. Will's motto is kill first, ask questions later. He is permanently angry, and I find it a miracle that he didn't have an aneurism and die. In "the Cross of St. Siricus" Will and Much stumble upon a camp that they think belongs to lepers. Will spends most of the show screaming "I've got it! I know I've got it!" He later learns that the "lepers" were Gisburne and his men, and when he learns that... he goes after Gisburne like never before. "I'm gonna kill you Gisburne!" Unfortunately, Gisburne wins out, and Will almost topples off the side of the cliff. |
