| This is Crapty. He joins fairly early on. His civilian name is Matt, but he rarely uses it. At first glance he appears only to be an annoying, egotistical cheese-weasel (Spaz's words). However, he actually possesses a skill that none of the others - not even Queenie - have: An extraordinary gift for strategy. Although he does the majority of the planning, he lacks the necessary leadership qualities; though he claims repeatedly that HE is the leader. He is not quite so shallow as he seems, however. Underneath it all is a noble man, screaming to get out. "Noble Crapty" makes his first - and last - appearance when Crapty saves Princess's world from living fire, and is killed in the process. | This is Crapty, on the eve of the battle in Princess' world. He is inviting Spaz to sit beside him, as she is trying to apologize for generally making life Hell for him. They finally admit their feelings for each other. The next day, of course, he dies. Spaz blames herself, and is devastated because before the battle she told him she wished he'd need some help so she could laugh at him. This was prompted by Crapty's reaction to Princess's plea for help. (C) Charlotte May, 1999 |
