| This is Figmeister. Crapty recruits him to balance Queenie and Spaz. One look at Queenie, and Figmeister realizes it's not going to work. By that time she'd already recruited Empress and Princess, and he falls in love with Princess instantly. His civilian name is Spencer, and his only comment about himself is that he's "groovy". Loony, is what Spaz thinks, because when he is in his Spencer persona, he refuses to wear shoes. He'll only wear white tube socks, no matter what the occasion. He got his superhero name when he uttered the phrase "Fig Newtons are groovy. There are few things groovier than Fig Newtons," and Spaz was inspired. As Figmeister, it should be noted, he has no problems with shoes at all, and wears them happily. When he and Princess have their child, and go into inactive duty, Figmeister continues doing the mechanical work, which he prefers anyway. (C) Charlotte May, 1999 |
