Parent Involvement
I will provide several ways which parents can be involved in our child care program. I will send home periodic newsletters which will inform you of the themes and activities your children will be doing. I may also send home a weekend homework folder with an activity for the family to complete and bring back on Monday. Periodically throughout the year will be have group lunches in which the parents are invited to come and eat lunch with your child. This is a good way for you to meet some of the other parents and learn more about your child’s activities during the day.
It is very important that you feel that your child is in a safe and loving environment. Therefore, parents are always welcome to visit, unannounced, any time you child is in care. Parents are also welcome to join us for lunch. If you would like to join your child for lunch, please let me know the Friday before so that we can purchase and prepare enough food for you as well.
