 Tauret: (Egyptian)
An ancient Egyptian hippopotamus goddess, the guardian of childbirth and protector of children. She was commonly represented with large, hanging breasts, the limbs of a lion and a tail of a crocodile. Her ferocious appearance frightened away malevolent spirits at times of childbirth.  (Ref 3)
