| respected. Besides, the old saying "Do unto others as you would like to have done unto you" holds true even in online-based role-playing. When I meet you and throughout your time role-playing with me, I do not and will not outwardly put you down in any way. Therefore, please respect me and do the same. If you do not and/or cannot respect me and my co-writers as people and fellow writers, then the appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against you, which includes, but is not limited to, being placed on ignore through appropriate Yahoo! means, being banned from any role-plays/storylines that you might be involved in either as a prospective or active role-player, and/or being reported to Yahoo! for online abuse. Online bullying is a serious and damaging offense as it has been proven to be, and it will not be tolerated by me. 6. Sometimes, when I'm online under auburn_clairvoyance or victoria_geish, I am asked by other role-players if I can create or switch to another character more tailored to their role-playing needs. My answer to this has been and will continue to be "no". The reason: I'm online under either of the aforementioned screen-names to role-play those characters only. Therefore, even after you read this, if you see me online as either auburn_clairvoyance or victoria_geish and proceed to ask me to switch, then expect a polite, but finalized, "no" and a "wishing you the best in your role-play search endeavors" as your answer. I'll assume that because your preferences for role-play were not met by either of these characters, that you do not agree to these role-play terms and/or story-building with these characters. 7. Geish, I enjoy building their stories with my fellow role-players and enjoy seeing how my fellow role-players are building their characters' stories in turn. That's what we're here for: to write intriguing stories and have fun doing so. As such, you, the role-player, should not feel like I treat role-playing as a job, nor should you feel put-off by my terms or the manner in which I prefer any role-play I do to be executed; because these feelings are as far from the truth as they can possibly be. If anything, I see role-playing as something that I absolutely and with all heart love to do, an enjoyable hobby; not a job. However, I must balance my need of writing a story and seeing it through to proper closure, the way it is intended to be, with the need to have fun doing it. Therefore, I thought the best way to do so is by making this website accessible to you so that you may educate yourself and decide for yourself whether or not you would eventually and ultimately like to join me in role-playing. With all my love and passion for role-playing these sorts of characters, I welcome you and feel free to talk about anything related to |
