Lots and lots of Harry-related stuff for you to check out on this page! News archives, places to find pictures and information and sneak peeks at different things...hope you've got lots of free time to spend.

First of all, of course: JKR's official site

Scholastic.com -- The official website for the Harry Potter novels. I lost track of how many times I cried reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Harry Potter at Warner Bros. -- The official website for the Harry Potter movies.

The Leaky Cauldron -- The best source of Harry Potter news, this frequently updated site features a sort of montage layout. People email the site owners with pieces of news and, when appropriate, links to where the information can be found. The news they report varies widely, with some of the subjects including book updates, movie updates, new merchandise, and snippits about J.K. Rowling's personal life.

What's In A Name? -- The website of Priscilla Spencer, who wrote the brilliant "Mary Sue Litmus Test" at Writer's University. She has her own fan fiction and fan art posted here, but the real focus of the site is exploring the etymology behind the names of hundreds of Harry Potter characters, locations, spells and more.

The Harry Potter Lexicon -- Steve van der Ark's online encyclopedia for the Harry Potter universe. This wonderful compilation of facts includes everything J.K. has said in her interviews, along with several other reliable sources; it covers the characters, locations, and creatures of Harry's world, among a host of other things! Each character file includes at least one charming piece of fan art, too.

MuggleNet is a great compendium of Harry Potter fun! Try your hand at the caption contest (featuring pictures from the movies), view archives of fan art, contemplate clues and anagrams from the books, and discuss it all on the message boards.

CarpeSaponem has developed two Harry Potter-inspired fonts: "Lumos" and "Parseltongue." Both are available for free download on her website. (You can see Lumos on the main Harry Potter page -- I used it in the banner at the top.)
