There are literally hundreds of saints from Ireland.
Here, I'll just list a small token few,
and add just a wee bit o'
history of each as I have it. If you find yourself
interested in this subject, I encourage you to go
to Catholic Online dot org---click on the saints and
angels link and there you'll be able to find
short biographies on all known saints and blessed
angels, along with the feast days associated with
each. It's a very unique and educational experience.
The most recognized, Saint Patrick, I've devoted

SAINT AILBHE was a diciple of St.
Patrick. A bishop and preacher. The first bishop
of Emily, Munster, Ireland. A myth carries the legend
that he was suckled as a babe by a she wolf. Ailbhe was
noted for his acts of kindness and his charitable gestures.

SAINT BRIGID was born of parents
baptized by St. Patrick. She showed interest in religion
at a young age. Founded a monestary near Cill-Dara and became
Abbess of the convent...the first in Ireland.
Many miraculous events are associated with Brigid. She
died in Kildare, Ireland, the Mary of Gael...and is buried
near St. Patrick.

SAINT EDANA lived near Shannon
and Boyle rivers. There's a well named for her. (perhaps
she is St. Modwenna?)

SAINT GOBAN also known
as Abbott. He served in the County Limerick, Ireland.

SAINT IIIADAN, a bishop in Offaly, Ireland.

SAINT KENAN was an Irish
bishop...building a stone cathedral in Meath, Ireland (the first).

SAINT LASERIAN was bishop and papal legate of Ireland. In 637, he succeeded his brother, St. Goban, as Abbott of Leighlin.

SAINT LOMAN was son of Tigris, sister
of St. Patrick. He was bishop in Trim, Meath county, Ireland, dying c. 450.

SAINT LAWRENCE O'TOOLE
was Archbishop of Dublin, Ireland, in 1161.
Once taken hostage by King
McMurrogh during a raid. He was
then surrenderd to the bishop of
Glendalough, where St. O'Toole became a monk.
While on mission in France, St. O'Toole died.
He was canonized in 1225.

SAINT MEL was nephew of
St. Patrick. St. Patrick assigned St. Mel missionary to a
church in Ardagh. His charitable acts of giving to the
poor was noted.

SAINT MUNCHIN, patron saint of Limerick, Ireland.

SAINT NATHY was a disciple of St. Finnian.

SAINT ONCHO was a poet &
pilgrim preserving the Celtic traditions. He died in
Clonmore monestary, where he is enshrined.

SAINT SENAN was well-known for his
miracles and drew a massive crowd during his
sermons at the Abbott St. Natalis. He built several
churches and monestaries. He died at Killeochailli.

SAINT SAMTHAN is revered for
being the foundress of the convent, Clonbroney in
county Longford,Ireland.

SAINT SEDNA was bishop in Ossory, Ireland and abbott of Seir-Kieran Abbey.

SAINT TOLA, bishop in Meath, Ireland.

SAINT TRIEN, a disciple of St. Patrick. An abbott of Killelga Monestary.

SAINT TREA was converted to
Christianity by St. Patrick. She died after living as a
hermit in Derry, Ireland.

SAINT WIRO was an Irish
bishop, preaching Christianity to lower countries. Dying in
the seventh century.
