Teamhair (Teamhair Mh�r, T. na R�, T. Bhreac, 7r; gen.
Teamhrach) - "Tara",
most important socio-political sacred site
of pagan Ireland under both mortals and the Tuatha D� Danann, n.e. of Dublin.
bolg is buinn� - "bag and pipes" (p�b uilleann, "Uillean
pipes"
is a modern borrowing, as is the instrument, but this
term
exists from pre-christian sourses, indicating an earlier form)
clann - children, family, race, followers.
Colmchille - druid-trained greatest native Irish christian saint
Cromm Croich - god of non-druid pagan religious cult in ancient Ireland.
cruitire - harper, i.e. a music-wizard, druid.
C� Ro� (C� R�i) - druid-king of Munster (only king of a province to be also a druid)
whose totem was a salmon
Diarmaid mac Cearbhaill - 6th century king who attempted to re-introduce druidism to Teamhair,
which resulted the great curse of desolation upon
the site (P�draig curse on only the "druidry"
of Teamhair was apparently over-thrown by Diarmaid's druids, but the great curse was upon the site itself, bound by Ruad�n leading a christian-hermetic conclave
of 13 saints (not mere priests).
�riu - Ireland.
F�orcheann - "True-Head", Malen Head, the northern-nmost point of Ireland.
gaeilge - the Irish language thecorrect english is "Irish"; while "Gaelic" includes Scots and Manx).
Inbhear Sc�ine - Kenmare estuary, place of mortal's first arrival in Ireland.
T�lcheann - "Adze-head", a druid epithet for
Saint Patrick.
T� na n-�g - v Saol Eile T�r na Marbh - Land of the Dead Saol Eile, an - the Otherworld
(used loosely in modern Irish to indicate death or Heaven)
Uisneach - hill s.w. of Teamhair, ceremonial meeting of the five provinces.
