He'd never run so hard in his life...but it was everywhere he turned:
That damnable, ridiculous, red Weasley hair.
He dodged around a tree, and there stood Bill. "Going somewhere, Malfoy?"
He bolted away, down the hill--"Why, hello, Lucius. My word--are you actually sweating?"
Off in another direction--"Hullo, Mr. Malfoy..." "...helluva fight, innit?"
Backtrack, sidestep, try another way--"I never thanked you for the book, did I, Mr. Malfoy?" "And to think, Mr. Fudge actually admired you."
"Oi, Ron! Come see what we've found!" Charlie called.
Too late, Lucius understood that he'd fucked with the wrong family.
