CITY OF LACONIA
NINTH MEETING-WORK SESSION
DECEMBER 22, 2003 –6:34 P.M.
CALL TO ORDER:
Chairman Peter Brunette called the meeting to order on the above date and time.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Peter Brunette, Sharon Fleischman, Richard Heinis, James Joyal, Linda Peary, and Brenda Schmucker
MEMBER ABSENT:
James Baird
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:
Our licensing fee recommendations were presented to the Mayor and Council on December 8, 2003 for them to review for 2004 Motorcycle Week. The Council formed a subcommittee to review our recommendations.
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Linda Peary made a motion, seconded by Richard Heinis, to approve the minutes of the
November 24, 2003 Motorcycle Week Committee meeting. The minutes were unanimously approved.
SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS:
& Race meeting was postponed to January. She also suggested that the city should
Look into ways to receive revenue from Motorcycle Week and to bring people into
town. She gave an example that the Discovery Channel does a documentary that week
and bikers would pay a nominal fee to meet the TV personalities. She stated that Charlie St. Clair-Executive Director Rally & Race has several ideas.

ADJOURNMENT:
On a motion by Sharon Fleischman, seconded by Richard Heinis, it was voted unanimously to adjourn the meeting at 7:52 PM.
