Special Projects

The DelaCortess Group was organized in 2016 to handle special projects within La Cherche Consulting and independently. The division is managed by Sean Ackerson. Please note, this page in particular is still in development.

The props and costume accessories projects focus on the needs of costumers and fan-groups, mostly for science fiction. Among these items are custom built light sabers, resin crystals for various projects, and small leather goods.

With the attention given by La Cherche Consulting to history, we will eventually add small reproduction items for costuming and the home. For the holidays, we hope to have some special order holiday themed seasonal items for gift giving. Some of these items may include rolled beeswax or dipped candles. We can also research sources for period recipes that have been updated for use in 21st century kitchens for holiday hosting.

Graphics activities are oriented to 3-D designs for on-line role play groups. These include clothing items, furniture, and "rooms" themed for various story arcs. If you have an idea but need help, we can do that.

Other special services include computer technology assistance local to the staff member providing the service. Software troubleshooting can be done remotely or at your location if you are local to a member of our tech team.

Cyber security issues are handled by our in-house person. Most issues can be handled remotely, but sometimes it is necessary to have hands on access to the device that has been compromised.

If you have any on-line presence today, you can be found internationally. It is imperative to have a Privacy Policy as well as Terms of Service in place. These documents can be difficult to write so that the average visitor understands them, but lawyers find them difficult to challenge. We can help you with a set of forms customized to your internet needs. We have them reviewed to make sure they protect you and, to some extent, your visitors.

In recent months, we have begun spinning off our 3-D graphics projects to our DelaCortess Group subdivision.

The DelaCortess Group is also home to our specialty staff handling computer issues, cyber security, and reviews of the various Privacy and Terms of Service documents that must be part of a website.
