| Arcanomechanics |
The
spells in this category generally follows the known rules and laws
provided by the arcanomechanics. The possibilities are
boundless and Lachdanan, while pursuing Elementalism, is also
studying intensively on arcanomechanics. Furthermore,
arcanodynamics, a subcategory of arcanomechanics specifically on
the flows of arcane power, forms the basis on some of the theories
and spells that uses raw arcane as the foundation. All of
this knowledge and experience are found when Lachdanan has become
an adept. |

Spells
Description |
|
Initiate |
|
|
Earth Spike |
The
amount of spikes that can be summoned and their duration of
existence are determined by the skills and levels of the
caster. Lachdanan mainly uses it to trap unwary preys as
well as use it as a defensive measure to slow down the enemies'
progress. It can also be strategically used as an offensive
spell to block off the enemies' return path. |
|
Grasp Series |
This
series can best be combined with martial art skills. When
encased with the proper elements, elemental damage can be
inflicted upon the target. However, Lachdanan only casts it
on others who have the capability to do melee combats. |
|
Icicle |
The
arcane concentrates and condenses the water elements into one
solid icicle. It shoots towards the enemy to inflict cold
damage. |
|
Incinerate |
Lachdanan's
first special spell. Although it is learned, the mage put an
extra amount of effort to improve this offensive spell that
inflicts a moderate amount of fire damage. The next stage is
Inferno. |
|
Orb
Series |
They
are definitely the most basic spells. However, they are also
the spells that provide a strong foundation to Lachdanan's
elementalism. Rapid Orb Shifting is the resultant of
combining the series with arcanomechanics. |
| |
|
| Apprentice |
|
| Air
Blade |
As
the name describes, it's a manifestation combining the effects
from Elemental Weapon and Hard Air. Based on proficiency,
its effectiveness can be quite uncanny. |
| Circulus |
It's
a general usage spell that is mainly used as a temporary
shelter. Completely made from arcane, Lachdanan always uses
it as a way to protect himself from any physical disturbances
while he meditates in the wilderness. This circulus spell is
actually made from two parts - Inner and Outer Circulus. |
| Elemental
Sheath Series |
A
protective spell that wards off the effect of a particular
element. While the protection is not complete, in other
words, the caster may still be inflicted with a small amount of
damage, however, under some light circumstances, the sheath can
provide the caster with complete protection. |
| Elemental
Weapons |
Although
not used by Lachdanan himself during combat, he would use this to
assist his comrades by encasing their weapons with elements.
The effect is very similar to the Grasp Series. There was
one time when Lachdanan successfully and remotely imbued
(temporarily) a huge group of fighters who were battling the
undeads. |
| Glacial
Spike |
A
more powerful version of the Icicle. The cold damage,
undoubtedly, is greater. However, while it has its fierce
side to it, it's an art in itself due to the beautiful glacial
trail that it leaves behind its path, much similar to the tail of
a shooting star. |
| Gust
of Wind |
A
relatively simple spell that sends "breezes" towards the
target. While only minimal damage can be inflicted, its
ability to push the targets back would be far more powerful than
anticipated. |
| Hard
Air |
Solidifying
the air for the purpose of either fooling around or forcing people
to be held back. At a higher proficiency, hard air can
manifest itself into other air-related spells such as Air
Blade. |
| Heatless
Flame |
It's
more than just a light or fire without heat, it's rather an
attempt to alter the nature a bit by manipulating what was once
natural. |
|
Soft Stone |
A
highly dangerous spell that Lachdanan dares not to use unless it's
under extreme/dire circumstances. He has only used it once
to trap a gigantic snake, but unsuccessful due to limited power
and the size of that legless entity. Transforming the stone
into a liquid state temporarily may provide a formidable trap or
allowing Lachdanan himself to past through the walls.
However, it's because of this nature that he would prefer to spend
extra time to walk around corners rather than threatening his own
life due to sudden disruption of the spell. |
|
|
|
|
Adept |
|
| Elemental
Immunity |
This
is an advanced version Elemental Sheath Series. As
described, the spell grants the target/caster complete
immunity. While fire and water are easy to manage, air and
earth immunity have to be controlled with great care or will
suffer from similar fates similar to Soft Stone. |
| Ice
Chain |
Initially
a one-loop chain that wraps around the target. The ice chain
and its coldness multiplies itself and coils around the target as
its movement increases. The spell is easy to maintain, but
difficult to cast due to its complicated nature with
arcanomechanics and elementalism. |
| Inferno |
Lachdanan's
all time most powerful spell is the next generation after
Incinerate. Despite its power is still incomparable to the
magma, the spell is capable of blasting all there is into dust and
ashes with its brute force and heat. Even Cyraxians might
not be able to withstand such a power. Unfortunate, such a
great spell can only be cast three times when Lachdanan's arcane
supply is fully charged. |
| Mist |
A
gentle spell that is used to alternate the environment. Back
in the Sins of the Past, Lachdanan and a group
encountered a giant venom-spraying snake. The mage cast this
spell to ease off the extremely acidic characteristics of the
venom to minimal. |
| Rain
of fire |
Lachdanan
only used it one time. It's not a particularly powerful
spell, but it is most certainly a spell that can inflict some
amount of fire damages across a wide area of targets.
Preparation, however, is quite tedious. |
| Rapid
Orb Shifting |
It's
a demonstration spell that Lachdanan has been casting to exhibit
his power and knowledge of elementalism. The rate at which
the orb shifts and the randomness indicates the level at which
Lachdanan can control arcane. |
| Sandstorm |
Summoning
the raw power of the most hazardous desert environment and cast it
on the target(s) with great fierce and power. Not only this
will create quite a bit of nuisance to those physically fit, great
damages will occur due to the amplified effect generated by the
caster. |
| Summon
Elemental |
By
using his own arcane power as a "gift", Lachdanan can
summon elementals to do his own bidding. Based on
Lachdanan's experience, he never cast it for the purpose of
combat, but only for information gathering, travelling assistance
and some other non-combat related tasks. |
| Summon
Greater Element |
It's
more like an amplifier, but pretty useless when it comes to
Lachdanan's ability to control arcane from the lowest and highest
level at which he can attain with basically his own free
will. However, it was quite useful when Lachdanan needed
that extra boost of elements to assist his performance. |
|
Whirlwind |
The
air version of Sandstorm offers destructive power similar to the
Air Blade. Not only it cuts and slashes, it can send targets
flying randomly. If the target is getting sucked to the top,
most likely a drop dead will occur. |
|
|
|
|
Master |
|
|
Conflagration |
Area-effect
spell involving the purest essence of fire that results in
devastating burning damage. |
|
Crushing Boulder |
Send forth a
huge boulder crushing down upon a location |
|
Fireball |
A
concentrated and more powerful version of Inferno. Shaped
into whatever size, it spirals towards the target(s). |
|
Tornado |
Twisting
vortex of wind, rendering the immediate location into total
destruction. |
|
????????? |
The most
powerful spell in Lachdanan's spell list, but also quite
self-disruptive and unstable. The spell shoots out an
enormous blast of elemental energy that would take shape.
While it travels at an extraordinary speed, it disintegrate
whoever or whatever that stands in the way. Unfortunate, due
to the power that it involves, the caster's casting body part
would also suffer a tremendous amount of burn. |
|
|

|
Arcanomechanics
Series |
|
|
Arcane Mirror |
A
breakthrough in the arcanomechanics that takes in the concept of
"Everything is made up of Arcane." By using the
mirror as the gateway and using the caster's body as the
reflecting unit, the power will almost be immediately reflected
back at the direction of where it came from. However, at
this stage, the caster's body must be filled with raw arcane such
that the spells from all other spheres can be absorbed and
regenerated with nearly or complete exactness. The greatest
disadvantage, however, is totally dependent on the caster's
ability to take on the load in absorbing the spell's arcane energy
and the automatic restructuring of the spell. Despite
Lachdanan's power may match a master, his current arcane level
will only allow him to reflect any general adept level spells of
different with possibly full efficiency (powerful spells would be
a different evaluation). He can attempt to reflect an
archmage level spell, but even if it becomes a success, he'll most
certainly suffer from unpredictable damages due to the chaotic
properties of Arcane Mirror. |
|
Arcane Orb |
After
the Aetherfracture and with Lachdanan retrieving all his power
back, raw arcane must be re-understood again in order to adapt to
the new arcane system. Arcane orb is a simple spell that can
be used in many possible ways as long as creativity is there. |
|
Absolute Defense |
This
spell is by far the most complicated spell that Lachdanan has
invented. It is something that even he has trouble
understanding it. Nonetheless, while it's a prerequisite
that the caster has a very strong knowledge and experience in the
arcanomechanics, he/she must also possesses the ability to
generate arcane at every opening of the body. In
general, it is cast by generating a cyclonic arcane power that
surrounds the caster at every single point. Like a rapidly
spinning sphere and with the centre of gravity in the centre,
anything arcanic would be repelled. Yet, due to
inexperience, this will unfortunately require a large amount of
arcane in order to cast it. Unless necessary, Lachdanan
wouldn't want to cast it.
