(7 April 2002) For those of you who enjoy hearing about my Switzerland obsession ... ;) Here's a bit more to feed your hunger. hehe. Aline and Philippe got more pictures of the camp, so Aline scanned them in for me to see! and being the net freak that I am, I decided to put them on my own site :-D so yes. Enjoy more of the Jubla Frick...

Aline and Ursi try to hold up the Sarasani from falling down...

... while I sit and watch. :D (I'm sitting on the water tanks we used for our water supply. They were quite big, actually...)

Me, Aline, and Susi on "Middle East" day... (keep in mind that I never got true translations of what each day was, so I'm going on what we did.) Don't we look straight out of Egypt? (Or in Susi's case, straight out of the shower...)

yad sdrawkcab no cte/dnah gnorw eht htiw/ sdrawkcab etirw ot sdik eht hcaet I dna isuS. (Susi and I teach the kids to write backwards/with the wrong hand/etc on backwards day.)

The infamous water heater. That is what we used to heat the showers. Whenever we wanted to shower, we'd have to get a decent fire going, or else 1) the pressure would suck and 2) it'd be really cold. So we liked that waterheater....

The kids of the kitchen ladies. They're cute but good be a bit annoying at times... ^.^ I was supposed to help with the kitchen stuff, but I only helped once, and when I was peeling potatoes all the kids asked if they could help. So it wasn't bad :)

ehehehe! Dominik, Huebi, and Stckli "in action". Ok, so I don't really know what EXACTLY they were doing, but they were just playing around during a game one night. They make me laugh...

Sumo-Aline, right before her victory over me... *coughcough* Too bad she broke my knee!! (no, actually, I just twisted it during the fight between her and I. "Come on! what then! Bring it!!!")

Sumo-Philippe, taking a break.

"I CLAIM THIS VICTORY FOR AMERICA!!!!!" No, kidding. I didn't REALLY shout that. But I did win. Sorry Kathrin.... :)

Philippe doesn't like this picture... but oh well. We were cleaning stuff up on the last day of camp, washing off the Sarasani and the like.

The HUGE fire the last day of camp. See, we built everything, so at the end everything had to be brought down, and subsquently burned in the fire. We also made chicken in that fire, on iron sticks... they came out rather bent... :D

The whole camp, from the back. That's me, in the back row, to the right, with the red bandanna.

The whole camp again, from the front. I'm there, I just dissappered behind a hand. I promise!!

To the last days....
