After Camp...

After camp, I only had five days left in Switzerland to hang out with Philippe and Aline. we went to a cool water slide park called Alpamare, helped clean up the rest of the camp stuff, went to Europa Park (in Germany), sat in a hospital for three hours (I had twisted my knee slightly one day at camp and they had to convince me to go to the doctors) and shopped one last time in Basel. I had some really cool pictures of me, Philippe, and Aline around the house, but my camera broke and those pictures got exposed to light. Bitter, party of one?! oh well.

Okay, these instant photo machines are SO cool. For one franc you get a strip of four pictures of you, just like in the commercials or whatever. The closest we have to this in Raleigh is a booth in the mall which gives you one Polariod for three bucks.
Aline and I did ours the day before I left (the mad shopping day - did you know that all stores close in Switzerland at 6:30?!) and Philippe and I did ours the day I left, before we got on the train to the airport. The photo booth being in the train station, it was quite easy. :)

(sometimes you lose count... was it three or four? In this case, it was only three... *blush* :))

You know you're a tourist when....

You get your picture taken with street signs. (Allschwil was the town we lived in, right outside of Basel.)

After a long month, Philippe is ready too sleep. hehe. he didn't want me to take his picture, but I did anyway. Ah, such is the power of a girlfriend over her boyfriend... ;)

Well, that's it for my Switzerland pictures. I absolutely LOVED my trip out there, and I really miss it. But it is nice to be home. I suppose. :)
