Yes, my wonderful pictures of Switzerland are up. Basically, this page will be in three sections, before camp, camp, and after camp... cause that's how I divided the trip in my mind.
During the one and a half weeks before camp, Aline and I travled all around Basel (and to various other places via train) and got basically no sleep. But it was fun anyway.
One day, we went to the Basel Zoo, where I got in for free with somebody else's "fun card"... the guard looked at me funny, but he started to laugh and waved me through. God bless those Basel zoo guards.
Though the only cool part of that zoo was the seals...
...and perhaps the llamas. Beware the groooove!

One day, we were supposed to go around historic Basel, but ended up hanging out on the Rhine and shopping instead. that was pretty fun, though.
Amazing how much the Rhine looks like the Seine...
Aline poses by the Rhine... smile!
though we did, on that day, go to the Basel Town Hall.

One day, we went on this horrific bike tour. We thought it was going to be a nice ride around a lake. Little did we know it was going to be a 28 km, up and down hill Tour de France. Okay, so maybe I'm exagerating. But still. This is us before we did it... you can tell cause we're still smiling. Popular sayings throughout this day was "I reeeeeally don't like you, Aline", "So I'm going to die in Switzerland. I wonder what my funeral's going to be like" and "I don't think I'll be able to have children..."
Awww, aren't siblings just so nice to each other? I think Philippe was going to throw her in the bathtub or something...
