Labels on PCBs and other components demand exacting standards in material and print quality to withstand the production process and retain their integrity for the life of the product. New and expected legislation means that labels on plastics, such as covers and machine housings, will increasingly need to be recyclable.

The electronics industry also uses other self-adhesive items for bonding, vibration protection, chemical masking and similar tasks.
