Here you can see Horechy Road and the elevation marker of 33 feet. Not WA.
Graveyarad-Bridge
I have walked this graveyard before and chose not to this time. Something had caught my eye.
Ahead lay a bridge.
The grating looked to have bee taken from a drawbridge? Wonder if Big Foot "borrowed" it, also. Surely, such a fine bridge must lead somewhere?
A log also crossed this stream, Bayou Boeuf. Mercy, more pictures of the Boeuf. I guess I'm meant to picture each inch of this bayou. No problem!
The old grating really is a beautiful work of industrial art.
This fine bridge did not seem to lead to much. Other fine bridges in Louisiana seem the same. I should have looked closer, but on hot days, mosquitoes can be found in dark places. It seemed dark ahead.
Returning up the short road to nowhere, I saw a cabin I'd missed. I'd ridden right by it. I should have gone inside. Maybe not. Bayou, snakes, bayou, snakes, bayou, snakes. Louisiana, snakes, snakes, snakes.
