                          I am a very determined and passionate person. And buying magazines and
                           posters behind mum's back was not enough for me : I wanted to meet them.
                           So first thing I did was to work on my English . Well, if you can call it work :
                           I just decided to understand the lyrics of their songs, so I spent a good deal of time looking up words in my dictionary. Next thing was to accustom mum with me being a fan : I wanted her to be OK with it so that when BZ come to Paris, she would let me go and meet them. So when I heard that the Backstreet Boys were doing a signing session at the Virgin Megastore I jumped on the occasion and told mum I wanted to go . I wasn't a BSB fan but the idea was to show mum that it wasn't dangerous to go and meet a band. So we went, she saw it was alright, and when BZ came to Paris a month or so later she said " Ok , I'll take you to meet them" !!! I'm such a clever girl !!! ;o)

Anyway, she didn't stay long, she could not stand being squashed in a crowd of teen girls and it's true that even after experiencing all kinds of pushing and squashing since I've been a fan, this first time was definitely the worst ! I've never been so squashed in my entire life ! I couldn't breathe and whenever I tried to move my head to see something I would get some girl's hair in my face, so I was constantly looking up to the ceiling to breathe ! It was so great ! It was pure madness !
And then suddenly, after hours of waiting and puching and squashing : I saw Stephen sitting there, signing stuff !!!! There he was, so smiling, with a brown shirt and a D&G tie ... I remember thinking he was so sexy, and He REALLY REALLY was !!!!

I had brought that silly small Boyzone pattern I'd made on holiday out of wax ... But standing in front of him I just lost all my self control ! I was like " For you .... I give you ..." !!! :oD He was looking at me so kindly and understandingly !! He said thank you and kissed me and signed my personal diary ! How many girls can say Stephen Gately signed their personal diary ? I CAN !!!! ;o)
Anyway then there was Mikey, he was very busy signing stuff ... nothing special to mention.
Then there was Keith , he was lovely : I asked him how was his son and and he seemed delighted that I was asking about him . He said he was good with a huge grin on his face. :o)
Then BIG SHOCK ! There was Ronan !!!!! He was looking down and had really long hair . I'd never seen any picture of him with such long hair so it took me one second to realize it was really him !!! He was so buzy signing things, but I still got to kiss him ! I think I must have been the most daring girl of the crowd ! He was looking like an angel ... such blue eyes ..... :o)

Then there was Shane, majestuously greeting fans :o) He was really lovely and I walked out of the room with a sort of unreal feeling of ecstasy !

I had the privilege to discover a few years later that I'd been filmed by MCM and that millions of viewers had seen me leaving this room, drunk-looking and nearly falling off the tiny step at the door !!! :oD

Well I suppose I shouldn't mind : after all no one around me has ever told me they'd seen me, and even if they had seen me, they probably wouldn't have recognized me !!! So I guess my honour is safe !
But I still have the tape ;o)
